17 Photographs, representing 17 Italian territories that are Unesco heritage sites reworked and interpreted by Alberto Grant, become new digital works of art. Thanks to Blockchain technology and the possibility of certifying them through Non-fungible token (NFT) these works become UNIQUE.
A non-fungible token (NFT) is an encrypted bit sequence that is registered within a blockchain to represent and certify a right.
In other words, we can imagine an NFT as information in digital format characterized by the fact of being unalterable, durable and not duplicable.
Di fronte all’infinita riproducibilità dei contenuti digitali, gli NFT rappresentano il passaporto dell’opera d’arte. Gli NFT rendono dunque possibile un mercato trasparente e proteggono la paternità dell’artista.
Gli NFT per la Crypto Art, diventano quindi la soluzione ideale per garantire il possesso dell’opera, l’unicità, la verificabilità e l’esatto numero di copie immesse nel mercato, dati importantissimi per il collezionismo nascente.
